Troubleshooting

Answers to the problems people meet most. If yours isn’t here, get in touch.

That part of HeySales needs Pro. See Free and Pro for what’s in each plan, and how to try Pro free.

Some settings are only for your company’s owner and admins: the audit log, webhooks, the API key and making custom objects. See roles for who can do what. Roles can’t be changed in HeySales yet, so if yours needs changing, contact us.

The free plan has limits: 5 deals in all (including won and lost ones), 10 tasks and 1 form. Delete ones you no longer need, or move to Pro.

  • Check Google is still connected: go to Settings, then Connected apps. If it says it isn’t, connect it again. See Connect Google.
  • HeySales leaves out Gmail’s Promotions, Social, Updates and Forums tabs, drafts and spam, so mail filed there won’t appear. See Inbox.
  • New mail is fetched while you have HeySales open. If you’ve been away, give it a minute after you open it.
  • Check the code on your site is the one from the form’s Embed tab, and that the form’s web address hasn’t changed since. See Forms.
  • Look at the form’s submissions in HeySales. If people’s answers are there, the form works, and the problem is in what happens next, such as a workflow.

If 10 events in a row can’t be delivered, HeySales turns the webhook off and says so on its page. Fix the system it sends to, then turn the webhook back on. See When a delivery fails.

On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?, and we’ll email you a link to set a new one. The link works once and runs out after a while, so use the newest email.
